Electric Cars are poised to be game-changers for the automotive sector. It will change the way people think about transportation. With electric cars on the road, we can drastically bring down the CO2 levels. However, we are still facing one of the major obstacles that need to be solved: the infrastructure. Despite discussing such issues, tech conglomerates Bill Gates and Elon Musk have gotten into an insensible battle.
Marques Brownlee’s recent tech interview with Bill Gates is garnering a lot of limelight. This is because of Bill Gates disclosed he bought, ‘Porsche Taycan’, an electric car manufactured by Porsche. He added that it was a “premium-price car” and “very, very cool.”
This didn’t go well with Elon Musk, and he later tweeted, “My conversations with Gates have been underwhelming tbh(to be honest).”
CNBC reported that Porsche Taycan Turba sells at $150,900 in the U.S. while the standard price of an entry-level Tesla Model 3 is $39,490. Tesla’s Turbo S is the pricer variant at $185,000.
